Read with Fenya!

Posted by Sara on 30th June 2008

gromit.jpg(Sorry, it’s Fenya, not Senya…)

Join us for a special experience in the library on Saturday, July 12th at 11:00 am.  Our friends, Fenya, who is a retired seeing eye dog, and her human, Mary Ellen, will be hanging out in the library so you can take a few moments to read to her.  DID YOU KNOW DOGS LOVE STORIES!?!?!?!?!

Parents - this is the perfect chance to get your reluctant reader to try a paragraph or two!

Is this something you like?  Let us know and we can see if Fenya will visit once a month!

Join us for storytime with Jenine!

Jenine brings animated voices to each tale she shares with our readers. Each story she selects is followed with a meaningful project geared toward any age. Some of our younger readers may need some assistance, but Jenine and our staff are always on hand if adults want to browse for books!

2nd and 4th Saturdays at 11:00 am

No registration is necessary.

Jenine will be taking a break for the month of May - see you soon!
