Covid-19 update

The Stillwater Public Library is open but with a few changes:

  1. No appointment is necessary, but we can only have 4 people in the main room at a time in order to comply with Governor’s Cuomo’s mandates. That just means you may have to wait a bit.
  2. You absolutely MUST:
    • wear a mask properly while in (or approaching) the building
    • santize your hands on your way in and on your way out
    • ensure only one person is on the porch at any given time
  3. You do still have the option of curbside pick-up. Call for an appointment. For this service you will pull into one of the handicap parking spots and open your trunk, returns may be left beside your car door if you need us to take them for you.
  4. We are open for curbside ONLY between the hours of 12-1 and 4-5.
  5. Inter-Library Loan is up and running!
  6. Hoopla has been added to our digital collection to help use those new devices. (Don’t worry, Overdrive and Kanopy are still in there as well.)
  7. No one under the age of 12 is allowed in the building at this time. It was a difficult decision – I promise.
  8. On Tuesdays, the library will be closing at 3:00 PM in order to allow for the Village of Stillwater Farmers’ Market.
