New Library

Thank you to everyone who voted! On October 5, 2021, the residents of the Stillwater Central School District approved the renovation of the Fiber Mill building into a new library facility.

The new library includes a free public use state-of-the-art community room that can seat up to 40 people including tables. The goal is to line the walls of this room with commemorative bricks that will honor whomever you choose for generations to come.

Consultants for this project include:

Legal Firm: Whiteman, Osterman & Hanna
Library Architects: Butler, Rowland, Mays LLC
Engineering/Environmental/Surveys: The Chazen Companies
Construction Estimation: Gilbane Construction
Financial Analyst: R. G. Timbs, Inc

Each brick costs $250 (tax deductible) and can be purchased online paying through PayPal to secure your transaction. You do not need to have a PayPal account. You can always use a paper form with a check that you can drop off or mail in. Please make checks payable to Stillwater Public Library, mailed to PO Box 485; Stillwater, NY 12170.

We can’t thank you enough!!!
