Community Craft Swap

What is it?
A chance for crafters to swap excess craft supplies to make sure they get used and to find something new to work with!

How does it work?
Crafters will bring their items to the Stillwater Area Community Center between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. You will place your supplies on tables with similar items. At 6:00pm you will have the next two hours to pick and choose through the supplies others have donated, and take home anything you can use.

RULES OF THE SWAP:
FRIDAY 5/17 from 5:00pm-8:00pm
@ Stillwater Community Center

1. You must register by Friday, May 10th to participate.
2. Donation of two items for the food pantry is your cost to trade.
3. You must donate items in order to be able swap.
4. You must have your items here by 6:00pm at the latest.
5. Items from pet or smoking households must be marked as such.
6. Gently used or new items only.
7. Keep small items, like buttons and beads, or sets of items, like markers and pencils, bagged.
8. Small tools are welcome, but please avoid bringing expensive and/or large machinery (sewing machines, die cutters, etc.)
9. Swapping will begin promptly at 6:00pm, no earlier and no later.
10. If at 8:00pm you do not want to donate the left over materials you brought, you may collect your goods.
11. Any remaining supplies will be sold at a “garage sale” the next day to continue our efforts to raise money for the food pantry.

RULES FOR THE GARAGE SALE:
SATURDAY 5/18 from 10:00am – 2:00pm
@ Stillwater Community Center

1. Volunteers who help with the garage sale will have another opportunity to reclaim your materials.
2. Garage sale purchases will be $5 per (provided) plastic bag, which will go directly to the food pantry. Browsing is free of course.

Organized by the Stillwater Community Center and Public Library to benefit the local food pantry. Call the community center at (518)-664-2515 x223 or the library at (518) 664-6255 to register by 5/10. You can also email SKIPP@SALS.EDU if you prefer.
