Room Use Request

Article six of the American Library Association Bill of Rights, which has been endorsed by the Stillwater Public Library, reads as follows:

Libraries which make exhibit space and meeting rooms available to the public they serve should make such facilities available on an equitable basis, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of individuals or groups requesting their use.

Once submitted, we will notify you if approved. You must agree to the Building Use Policy in order to use the space.


PLEASE READ – changes have been made to accommodate our every day use.

COMMUNITY ROOM – Tutoring, Counseling, Adult Groups, anyone needing the freedom to speak out loud, or if your group is more than 10 people. 

CONFERENCE ROOM – This room is for meetings, both online and in person, for up to 5 adults. (Children are not allowed in this room and it is NOT intended for quiet study.)

LOCAL HISTORY ROOM – This is a shared quiet space for study or research. RSVP is not required, please silence your cell phones.

STEM ROOM – This room is available for children’s activities. An adult must be responsible for the room’s contents and general cleanliness.

This request is not a guarantee for the space. You will be contacted via email when the date and time are confirmed.
